INSTALLING THE JLD BRIDGE SYSTEM PART 1: ADJUSTMENT The JLD Bridge System is very easy to install. For reference, parts are referred to by name per the above diagram. The first step is to adjust the Bridge System to work with your guitar. Unscrew the torque tube from the two blocks and adjust the distance between them to match the distance between the saddle and the bridge pin hole (generally the D string hole is used to mount the unit). This measurement doesn't have to be perfect but get as close as possible. Hold the unit upside down on the top of the bridge to measure the gap. Unit shown is a prototype but the principle is the same.
